We aim to be a financially healthy, independent and stable organization, as many of our cases take years and we need to fund a professional team in the long term. Our aim is therefore to cover two thirds of our running costs by recurring individual supporting members. This excludes institutional members and individual donations, but ensures long-term financial stability and independence. For 2021 we budgeted roughly €750.000 to pay for our staff, rent, legal and project costs and regular expenditures. The rest of our budget for 2021 will be covered by individual donations, sponsorships and institutional funding.
As our budget will be calculated on a more flexible approach, the percentage on our webpage may fluctuate in the future.
